Artist Statement:
Title: The Celebrity Hunts
This piece depicts a scene from The Mana Sorcerers of Shadomu, the fictional world I developed for my World Building Project. The infamous Celebrity Hunts. As soon as the heroes discover Mikage Health, a Medical Organization are the true culprits behind the Okkilium Incidents, the doctors go on a rampage hunting down as many celebrities as possible. The layer in the front depicts Kaito and Lucy, two prominent characters as they look out into the city ahead, chaos commencing and their final target atop the Radio Tower in the distance consumed by a storm.
I am extremely happy with how this turned out. I was extremely passionate about this project and excited to create a scene from the world I have developed for years. I chose to do the celebrity hunts since it depicted the sheer chaos of the world and would make in my opinion a sight to behold.
