Golden Hour

As the sun was about to set, I took this picture capturing the heat of a hacky sack tournament. Shooting photography at golden hour heightens the color properties of oranges and blues, making for a “glowier” feel.
Negative Space
Including negative space in a photograph adds intrigue. In this case, you’re forced to look further into the photograph, all of the negative space drawing your eye to the subject.
Shadow
All of the subjects in this photograph silhouettes – a world swallowed by shadow. This adds an air of mystery to the picture – you aren’t really sure of the story, but you want to know more.
