This one I found uniquely challenging. Not in the fact of making something have a depth of field and be creatively staged like many of the example photos. I’ve found myself to have plenty of those photos with rain and light, and able to take many more. I just found those photos boring. But this light created the perfect framing for both of those. The light itself is actually the bottom side of a park lamp, with that blurry part sticking out being the pole. I pushed my lens up against the pole, and angled it up, also creating a deep depth of field, and made this photo, which almost feels like a portal to another dimension.
