I decided to tell the story about my mom’s second job that she does on the side. She used to be a full time hairstylist and went to school for the license. Even though she may be busy with work at her other job, she continues to find time to cut people’s hair. Ms.Sara who is cutting her haircut said “In all my ears, she is the best person who has done her hair.” For my mom, this isn’t just a job to her but a time where she can connect with her clients and listen to their life stories. The picture I took was intended to show the middle of the hair cutting process between the hands and the hair.
