Negative Space

School Sink is on the left and on the other side of the pole there is just a blank wall
50mm, F1.625, ISO 100, 1/1024

The picture that I taken has a drinking fountain on the left and a ventilation system. Towards the right of the picture, there is nothing but a wall. I chose to take this picture to show negative space because I thought that the colors in this scenery had very neutral shades of grey and the only object that really stood out was the blue pole that divides the negative space portion of the picture and the other side with the drinking fountain. All together, I thought it was effective in creating this feeling of dullness with the lack of vividness there is in the picture.
