Sunset with dark outline of a tall tree
50mm, f4, ISO 800, 1/165

Today I wanted to show an important scene from part of the day that I was off from school. I had gone on another one of my walks with my family and thought it would be cool to showcase the sunset of the season of fall when the sun usually begins to go down sooner in the day. Initially, I decided on utilizing a higher ISO value to show the depth of the trees but when I had taken multiple pictures with different values this had stood out the most to me. The colors that took over the blue sky had stood out the most from this photo and I thought it had captured the essence of a sunset in late fall. The contrasts of the black outlines from the landscape of the mountains and the tall redwood trees would help to emphasize the main focus be on the sunsetting as it falls behind the mountains from my point of view.
