For this assignment we were told to make a interesting affect using a prop. I didn’t have many props I feel could, in the moment, visually make a noticeable difference however I worked on some editing to create this photo, which I attempted to make as black and white minus one particular feature. The feature we used was the red roses as a prop, as it felt very visually powerful and also a unique enough color is the background does not become an issue. I love this photo and others we took, and maybe next time we would use make up that is less red to create a more isolated palette.
