For this photo we were told to make a creatively staged photo, to invoke some kind of feeling. For this photo, given this was the last month of the musical we have been working on “Hadestown” I wanted to create a photo which invoke a powerful message. For this photo I wanted something grand and powerful. This photo was during one of the largest songs, which was Chant reprise, where hades stretches his arms to show the extent of his power. I think that this photo invokes a large scale performance and show which has layers of depth, the people on the ground, the higher floor, and Hades himself behind the lights. Overall I tink this photo is excellent and invokes a strong image and story.
