During the narrative unit of Freestyle, we were able to explore various different narrative techniques as well as collaborate with classmates to develop ideas on how to create unique worlds and 3D animations. In English, we worked together in groups to develop an original worldbuilding narrative in which we explored various story structures and character types. For Digital Media, we used the worldbuilding we created in English to design a multilayered art piece which was lazer cut then put together. For Animation, our groups created a short 3D animation with the characters we created in a previous unit. We were able to learn how to better use applications like Adobe Illustrator, Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects.
