This photo belongs to a series I took in London. My sister made herself a bedazzled lighter and I thought it looked super cool, especially with all of her silver jewelry.
I also thought that fire was the most interesting element to photograph because all the others are commonly found. For the last shot I used a slow shutter so you can see the individual sparks coming from the lighter as it’s ignited!
