This helps bring the viewer’s eye to the center of the plate, where it can then follow all the inside of the plate and move their eye around form there. The fork makes it so the first thing the viewer does is look to the center of the plate. This meal was cooked by my mom’s boyfriend, and if you were wondering, it tasted amazing.
