Photo Blog #11: Balance

For this assignment we were supposed to take an “Accidental Renaissance” picture which also incorporated balance. Direct symmetry was hard for me to figure out so I tried to balance the image through the different objects and light sources. The model of the human body is the centerpiece of this picture, and my bed to the left of it balances with the blue ray of light coming from the right. I used heavy color grading to make the image very red, an effect that I like because it is more ominous.
