Photo Blog #35: Rule of Thirds Emotion
For this assignment we were meant to take a picture that utilized the rule of thirds to evoke emotion. I wanted to evoke a sense of mystery, which might fall somewhere between amazement and terror on Plutchik’s wheel of emotions. By decentering the subject, which is the flashlight, I am able to more dynamically convey this emotion. I brought this image into PhotoShop for a few color adjustments.
