The ocean can be seen as a metaphor for an exit. It shows a clear difference between the land and the outside. And even though there isn’t nothing in the ocean, it is far far away from what we have on land. This path that leads from the corner of the photo towards the ocean can be seen as a metaphor for our exit from this semester. Even though we haven’t made it to the vast ocean yet, we’ve almost made it to the ground. And we’re almost there.
