This is a photo of a speech and debate duo that just won a really important tournament. Problem is it’s hard to get them both in frame without making the guy on the left look really short. He’s not super short, he’s a little shorter than average and the guy on the right is pretty tall. So I positioned them in this way so that it makes people believe that their height is pretty close because the guy on the left is elevated. Effectively lying to the audience about their height.
