This photo is way darker than the original photo. In the raw verison, you can see a bit of her face and her clothing on the left side. But in order to emphasize that negative space on the left side I pretty much dropped the blacks and shaddows while raising the whites. It created a really cool white line on the right side of my subject that separates the right side of the image by the dark inky black left.
