The photo blog challenge prompt for this week was “Not Filter”. My subject was a toy owl on top of an old, Romanian book my parents had. I felt it was appropriate since raw knowledge and wisdom is something so clearly represented by these two objects. Owls are viewed as knowledgeable and books contain information. We shouldn’t cast barriers (or filters) over knowledge as it should remain something for the public to obtain.
