This unit of reflection focused on the question “Who am I?”, which persisted through our projects. This senior year of Freestyle has encouraged us to be more reflective of our growth as creatives and personal changes. I took it as an opportunity to think about my values and morals through the Digital Media self expressive projects, a college personal essay in English, and a freedom of choice for what we’d like to model in Animation.
I’ve learned how to better communicate with an audience through my writing and visuals. There is a balance of showing as much insightful content to the audience as possible while also making cuts and changes to the project so it can be as effective as possible. From the Freestyle projects, I became aware of how my creativity involves themes of warmth, the natural world, and detail.
