For the prompt of shadows, I used the lack of shadows in this photograph to force the viewer to see the shadows that do exist. To add more color into the piece, a duplicate layer of the original photo was added with the setting of “multiply” and then an overlay to bring out the color. When there’s a scarcity of an element, such as shadow, we notice its emphasis even more.
