For this week, our photo blog challenge was “Trash” with the theme of “Inspiration”. I experimented with Photoshop again to apply overlay, multiply and linear burn layers. I also have a layer with brush strokes to add texture to the background. Inspired by trash, I used a photo of wires to replace the leaves in a different photo ad added a warm palette of colors behind. I was inspired by the concept of people burning trash and plants burning. Even though both organic plant life and trash are different in their original state, after experiencing the worst of circumstances, they are all still the same. They both become ash. I mainly wanted to play with the layer effects for this challenge.
