Traditional Art

For the last few years, I have been using a lot of my free time to make watercolor paintings. At first it was a bit of a struggle because of the wet slidyness of the paint, but I got used to it. This is some my favorite stuff I’ve made so far, and I’ll add more as I make it! Theres also some other medium art hidden in there.

Two paintings with my characters eating at tables

These were paintings I made for a painting class I took my sophomore year. Overall was a bit of an underwhelming class, but it gave me access to acrylic paint which was nice.

I made some custom paintings to decorate the set I was helping my friend/neighbor build for the school play

This is a collection of portrait studies I have done. I use a variety of reference photos for these, some I chose from movies/TV shows I liked, others are pictures I just found aesthetically pleasing.

Tribute to friends and family. From left to right: my family, my grandma, and my ultimate frisbee captain.

School projects. A 3D chameleon I made for an english “Visual Metaphor”, and a painting of a mole in a Georgia O’Keefe painting (Georgia Mole’Keefe) for chemistry.
