Current Events

I took this photo at the most recent no kings protest, and it was cool to see everyone gathered and despite there being so many different and opposing political beliefs, seeing everybody coming together we can see past the political conflicts and watch everybody come together and form communities.

Depth of Field

50mm, 120 ISO 1/200 SS, f/2.8

I took this photo of my friends car and i thought the composition and the DOF was pretty cool, since the background is blurred and the car isnt fully in focus, yet it still looks like a nice artistic choice. Definitely one of my favorite photos ive taken.

Musical

70mm, f/2.8, 2000 ISO, 125 SS

This photo was taken at a mini concert in Whistler where I went during ski week break. The concert was really fun and I took lots of awesome photos using my camera. The color contrasts well with the dark audience, and the smoke really emphasizes those light rays.

Film Noir

70mm, f/2.8, 200ISO, 125ss

This photo was taken in half moon bay on a walk that I did. I didn’t take it on a film camera, but used my fujifilm X-S20 to imitate a film camera, and it turned out really nicely, this is one of my favorite photos.

Color Theory

105mm, f/f9, 160ISO, 125ss

This image was taken of my friends car at Stanford, We did long(er) exposure than needed, and panned with the car which left me with this awesome still with a blurry background and blurry wheels, like from a movie.

Long Shutter Speed Exposure

70mm, f/2.8, 200iso, 1 Second SS

This photo was taken on new years, I used a long exposure to capture the explosion of the firework, held on a tripod. It looks really cool and I have tons of photos like these from different events throughout the years.

Silhouettes

50mm, f/2.8, 160ISO, 500ss

This was taken at a school scrimmage for my lacrosse team at LAHS, I really like how the bars in the helmet contrast with the background to create a true silhouette.

Low Angles

40mm, f/2.8, 160ISO, 400ss

I took this photo in Palo Alto, and I really like how the colors look in this photo. The way the green and the blue and the red blends in, it feels like something from a 90’s film.

Color without Color

70mm, f/2.8, 160ISO, 320ss

I took this photo in San Francisco, it was really hot and sunny and also pretty humid deep in San Francisco’s China Town. The red colors were vibrant and contrasting to the dull colors of the majority of San Francisco. I really like how the composition turned out. It may be bias but I can see the color despite the photo being black and white, this is really cool to me because its like those color assimilation grid illusion’s.

Rule of Thirds Emotion

105mm, f/2.8, 100ISO, 125ss

This photo is taken in Byxbee park in Palo Alto California, I took it during a walk and I liked how the bench was sitting alone in a way, looking over the vast plains and looking into the horizon. It looks like its waiting for someone to sit with it, and join it on its pondering session.
