Depth of Field

50mm, 120 ISO 1/200 SS, f/2.8

I took this photo of my friends car and i thought the composition and the DOF was pretty cool, since the background is blurred and the car isnt fully in focus, yet it still looks like a nice artistic choice. Definitely one of my favorite photos ive taken.

Color Theory

105mm, f/f9, 160ISO, 125ss

This image was taken of my friends car at Stanford, We did long(er) exposure than needed, and panned with the car which left me with this awesome still with a blurry background and blurry wheels, like from a movie.

Rule of Thirds Emotion

105mm, f/2.8, 100ISO, 125ss

This photo is taken in Byxbee park in Palo Alto California, I took it during a walk and I liked how the bench was sitting alone in a way, looking over the vast plains and looking into the horizon. It looks like its waiting for someone to sit with it, and join it on its pondering session.

Fill the Frame

70mm, f/2.8, 160ISO, 400ss

I took this photo in San Francisco during fleet week, and I really like how the colors look in this photo, and how the jacket constrasts from everything else in the photo.

Geometry

50mm, f/4, 400ISO, 1000ss

I took this photo in my bathroom at my new house, I liked the lighting and I liked how many squares and lines there were.

Angles

50mm, ISO 200, f/4.8, 1/200s

I took this photo when at a victorian venue for a wedding. I really liked the design in the evening on the porch and I thought the sillouette of the design ontop of the tree and the sky would look really good if black and white. I tried to make the angles unique instead of taking a straight on photo, trying to get the sky and the tree top in the photo.

Rule of odds

200mm, ISO 100, f/4, 1/500s

This was one of the first photos I took with my new 18-300 lens, and It turned out very nicely. I like the light shining off of the glass and it makes a sun shape where the light is really bright on the glass.

Center Frame Portrait

200mm, ISO 100, F4.8, 1,1000s

I took this photo out the window of my car because I liked the colors, I took this photo on accident and cropped it into the tree, the photo itself is unedited in terms of lighting and color but solely just canon’s color purity.

Leading Lines

50mm, ISO 100, f5.6, 1/200s

This photo fits well for this post because the fence is leading to my subject, which is a lonely fisherman by himself peacefully waiting for a snag. This photo for some reason makes me feel cold but at the same time warm due to the overcast weather and the temperature of the photo.

Symmetry Landscape

95mm, ISO 250, f14, 1/500s

I took this photo near Skyline reserve, its a lone telephone tower placed in an area full of lush landscape, sticking out like a sore thumb.
