This week I was inspired by the song “From the Subway Train” by Vansire. The gravel road stretching into the horizon, the sunlight breaking through the clouds, and nature create a atmosphere much like the fleeting memories and gray skies the song describes. Though the song is talking about trains, I felt like bikes were simular since they still get you from place A to place B.

Lyrics:

When August comes
I don’t count the days
Transitory views
From the subway train

How strange
When life unfolds this way
In the driftless zone
Skies are prone to stay off-gray

Clouds are omens too
Fading at the rate
Most pleasant memories do
