- A Junior from Freestyle Academy
Welcome to my page, I am Matthew Waldbusser and I am a student at Freestyle Academy in Mountain View, California. I am taking Honors English, Digital Media, and Design. Before entering Freestyle Academy, I had heard many great things about the program and I knew I had to join. Freestyle has exposed me to so many creative outlets that I didn’t even know I had. I have already gotten much better at drawing, writing poetry, and editing photos in Photoshop. I love the projects that we do here at Freestyle because I am pushed creatively every day to create something amazing. The community in Freestyle is also great because we all work hard and collaborate to create amazing products.
Outside of Freestyle, I play baseball for the school and for a club team. I have been playing baseball since I was five years old. Baseball is loved by my family so love to see the Giants play as much as possible. I also love photography and I get out of the house as much as possible to take photos. I started taking photos during my family trip to Tanzania in 2017 and I became obsessed ever since. I shoot photos on my Sony-a6300 and I specialize in landscape photos. Before getting into photography, I would be inside for most of the day, but now I try to be outside in nature and explore our planet as much as possible. When I heard of Freestyle, I knew I had to join to further my future with photography.
