For the “using props” prompt, I used a house plant as a jungle prop and creatively staged a photo that appears to show a hand reaching through the leaves of tall, wild trees in a bushy green forest. In executing this, I captured the potted plant at an up-close angle so as to make it appear larger than it is in reality. I had my brother stand from behind and put his hand out to the edge of the plants’ bushy leaves, and pushed the camera slightly into the leaves of the plant to make it appear as if the person who shares the perspective of the photographer is within and surrounded by forest nature.
