This photograph features my younger brother, Juda. If you look closely, you can make out my silhouette in the reflection of his eyes. I used a lower f-stop to focus on the eyes and blur out the edges of the photo. Because it was a bright day, my brother was squinting, which gave him an interesting facial expression like he’s trying to hide something. The eyes are like windows into the soul. In this photograph, very little of his soul is revealed. You are left wondering: What is he thinking?
