My view of food has evolved significantly over the years. It’s even drastically changed since I joined MVHS and Freestyle Academy in my Junior year. Depicted in this photo is a Cosmic Crisp apple, my favorite variety, along with Honey Crisp apples. At first, I struggled to make this photo interesting, but then I lifted my camera off the ground and saw the long oval shadow created by the setting sun. I was inspired to frame the photo with the apple in the bottom right corner to highlight this shadow.
