Over Thanksgiving break I visited many colleges down in LA. This is a picture of the Loyola Marymount Campus in the late afternoon. LMU sits on a hilltop and has a great view of the sunset over LA.

For this photo I wanted to have the visual weight of a different color while also telling a small story. The story here would be that of an “imposter”.
This weekend, I went to visit the UC Berkeley campus. I was really amazed by all the architecture and the fact that this was built more than half a century ago.
During quarantine, a habit that I picked up was going on small walks around my neighborhood. Along the way, I like to stop and take pictures like this one.

I thought that this was a good picture to do the rule of thirds. It follows the rule of thirds horizontally and vertically and has a natural horizon line with the beach and the cliff.
I took this picture mainly from gaining inspiration from other examples I saw online. I took this picture because I thought it was a great way to take a faceless self portrait. I think it represents me and how sometimes I can get lost in my own thoughts.
