When asked to take a photo of the people that inspire me, my mind immediately shot to my parents. Initially, I wanted to find photos of them with me as a baby, but I found these on my hunt through old photos. I chose these because they show what I admire in my parents: First, they are both incredible people (I thought the professional photos and formal attire would present a feeling of awe on the viewer’s part.)—smart, kind, and exactly the type of parents one wants. Secondly, they are both beautiful people—but even more beautiful together. I can only hope to have as a great a companionship with someone as my parents do with each other.
