Things I've Learned So Far Podcast
In English we were asked to create a list of ten or so non cliche statements that were fitting to our lives. These statements could range from serious to silly. After making the list of ten or so statements, we'd do multiple projects. Our first assignment was to take a photograph that could represent one of our statements. We then explained in front of our English class, the significance of the statement, and meaning of the photograph. Next we created a podcast in WebAudio. After the statements were recorded, we added pictures and background music.
- Friendships are like presents, no matter what’s inside you should be thankful for what you get
- Nothings awkward until you make it awkward
- Having no expectations means never being dissapointed
- Having no expectations means never being dissapointed
- Those that think they can improve, will
- You didn’t have a childhood if you never saw spongebob
- Home is where my family is
- Awkward stages are like bikes, you eventually grow out of them
- You never miss a good thing until it’s gone
- Don’t waste smiles on people who don’t smile back
All of these statements I have created have been true to me throughout my life. For homework we were asked to choose the one statement that held the most significance. The we were supposed to take a photograph to capture the image. For my statement, I used a fisheye lens to capture the object of the photogeraph rather than the subject. The emphasis being on the SAT book, represnts how sometimes friends take presents for granted. By the look on the subjects face, you can tell she is dissapointed with her gift. The point I was trying to get across was that it doesn't matter what's inside, its the thought that counts. My hope for people, is too see the importance of friendships, and how we should be greatful for what we are given
Making a podcast can be very difficult and tedious. After recording your voice on GarageBand you can add different defaults to change your voice or sound. Usually podcasts open with music, so you can either borrow GarageBand's or create music of your own. After you've added the music you want, it's required to make it visually appealing. Throughout your podcast, pictures that go along with what you're saying should appear. This makes the podcast ultimately come together. Once you are done speaking, you then can add music and pictures to make the ending come together.
