Hi there, I’m Paige Eller, welcome to my Self-Portrait Website! For the first half of my day I attend Freestyle Academy. At this school, I’ve been lucky enough to learn how to create websites, using different programs such as Adobe DreamWeaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator. By navigating through my website, you will learn a little bit about myself. I love nature, and being outdoors, which is shown through my template design, photogallery, and diptych. Feel free to go about my website, and most importantly, enjoy!
One of my first English assignments this year was to create a poem filled with sensory detail. The poem was supposed to tie into the personal essay we wrote, so I took a sentence from my essay, choose the best adjective and began writing a whole new story. Let’s see what you think!
Piece of cake
acceptance papers glide to ease
her tears for every brilliance
unremovable glue
bubbles surfacing
micro pixels spelling out insignificance
my eyes are balloons
I remove my wool coat
its miniscule fibers tickle my skin to irritation
forced eggs and toast fill my already full stomach
she spoon feeds him
red carpets appear at his feet
screaming spreads throughout my body like cancer
goosebumps act as nude jeans
washes away at winter
tummy aches lead to thrown up desire
laughs echo
striped sheets
naked
