using props

This week’s prompt was to create an interesting effect using simple props. My “prop” was a puddle!

I created this effect by using flash and reflecting it into ripples in the puddle. The light bounced off of the reflection of my hair, which is red, so it created a little reddish tint around the reflections.

I took a lot of these photos, but I really liked how this one turned out since it looks like little magical fish made of light :]
