For this prompt, we were asked to photograph the essence of a mood that we were feeling. The best way I can think to describe the mood here is “sparkly.” When I took this photo, I had been feeling happier than usual, almost bubbly. I was able to have joy in the smaller things in life, including the pretty effect of the light through this window. I had to work with the aperture, ISO and shutter speed to find a balance that properly captured the colors that I wanted. These high value colors reflect a light, happy mood. To me, this photo represents optimism and joy, a more colorful outlook on life.
