For this prompt, our goal was to take a photo using a natural frame within the framing of the photo itself. I took this photo with the plants on either side creating a frame around the scene of the girl playing with the dog. I think the dark leaves frame the scene very nicely to bring more attention to the subject. It creates a natural vignette effect that I really like. It took me a while to figure out how to get the lighting right so that the background wasn’t too light while the foreground wasn’t too dark, and then many other tries to get my subjects in a good position. Photography with an energetic puppy is difficult! But it was worth it, because now I have a sweet photo that I am very happy with.
