This week, we were using leading lines to show the concept of infinity. This was a photo I took on a walk with some of my family, among the beautiful autumn leaves of New England. I think that the photo doesn’t perfectly show the concept of infinity, but I like the way that all the leading lines meet at the point right where the road rounds the bend. It suggests a kind of infinity and mystery, leading to an unseen place. I like how there are leading lines both below the viewer’s feet, in the road and sidewalk, and above their head, in the telephone wires. Though the pair talking in the photo are visually small, all lines point to them, which brings the focus and importance back to them.
