The world today is changing in ways we can no longer ignore. Climate change is worsening, turning once-comfortable days into relentless heatwaves. Litter looms across the earth, a constant reminder of carelessness and neglect. Yet despite the urgency, many don’t know what to do—or refuse to acknowledge what’s happening—leaving the planet to face consequences that will touch us all. Even though it’s scary, we can’t give up. My friend Talya is a green team ambassador. Every day, she picks up trash around campus, reminding me that people can do good, and WE can be those people.
