Hi there! Welcome to my website! My name is Sofia and I am a student in Freestyle Academy. Since joining Freestyle I have seen myself grow as both a person and an artist which is one of the biggest reasons why I love this school. Freestyle has given the opportunity to learn how to produce a bunch of cool stuff with many professional softwares. I feel very very lucky to say that I am a part of this wonderful community of people who constantly support each other. Before freestyle I couldn’t wake up every single day looking forward to going to school :))
I’ve always loved art, seeing and creating different types of art has been something that keeps me going. Drawing, seeing theatre, editing photography, listening to music, they’re all different types of art and though some are just hobbies, I love doing all! One of my biggest inspirations to try out animation was the love I have for Disney & Pixar, since I was little, the stories, characters and different types of animated series, were a thing I both, geeked over and admired so very much. Can you believe that there was a whole team of about 30 people working in a single scene that in a week could’ve been only 5 minutes of the movie?! Pretty crazy, right? All that hard work for products that are mind-blowing and visually stunning. I want to be able to create something like that.
Freestyle has really been a place I’ve had the chance to express who I am through different projects. Being given the chance of forming a pat of this program is really wonderful and something I am very excited to continue to learn from.
