For this photo blog challenge we are challenged to take a photo of something that represents “frame within a frame”. We are trying to frame our subject using only natural elements and no actual picture frames. For this photo blog I was having a hard time finding an idea to take a photo of it was also close to the time that I had to return my camera equipment so I was trying to get all my photos done before…
For this photo blog challenge we had to take a self portrait of ourselves doing a certain pose that shows what other people think of us. Its similar to the first ever photo blog we did which was during our junior year at Freestyle. The difference between the first one that we did and this photo blog challenge is that for the first one we were not allowed to show our faces at all but for this one we can…
For this photo blog we have to use props to try and capture an interesting and creative. To take this photo I went to Shoreline with my dad and I was originally going to use bubbles to blow above the water to make it look like the water was bubbling. That idea backfired because it was too windy at that time so when I blew the bubbles they went in the opposite direction. Then I thought of using my glasses…
The challenge for this photo blog is to take a photo of a modern convenience that we can’t live without. I chose to do a GPS because its something that people use in order to get to places that they haven’t been to before or go somewhere that is super far from where you live. If GPS was never created for our devices and our cars or if we didn’t have paper maps then it would be harder to get…
The challenge for this photo blog was to capture an image of something that represents a current event that is happening right now. I chose to take a photo of the gas prices from a local Chevron that is not far from where I live. I chose to do this because right now there has been lots of stuff on the news about the war thats been happening between Iran and the US. The war is leading up to the…
This photo blog challenge is based on the one of the seven deadly sins. I chose to capture greed because kids, teens, and sometimes adults can be greedy and buy a lot of things that they don’t really need so eventually it gets left buried underneath a bunch of other stuff. I took a photo of my computers with a few tabs opened showing some stuff that I really want but I can’t really get them because they’re ether to…
One of the photo blog challenges for this month is about film noir. For this photo blog challenge we had to try and take a photo of something or someone and make it look like it was taken from a old movie. To take this photo I went out at night with my dad to downtown Mountain View. We went straight to city hall and took some photos of the building next to it. They didn’t really turn out the…
One of the photo blog challenges for this month is about taking photos with different viewpoints. The idea that I had for this photo blog challenge was to take photo of cars driving on the freeway and it would be in the viewpoint of a person who is standing on a bridge and watching as the cars drive past underneath the bridge. After taking the photos I looked at some of them in finder and they looked a little dark…
For the first month of the new year one of the photo blog challenges was to take a photo of two different objects together that are small and large to create an illusion that makes it look like the two objects are supposed to be together. For this photo blog challenge I had a hard time finding an idea for a photo that I could take with small and large objects without copying the examples from the link related to…
For this photo blog challenge we have to try and take a photo of something from a low angle. For this challenge I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to take a picture of from a low angle. A few days before new years, my dad asked me if I wanted to go see the campus of one of the colleges that I applied to and I said yes. He also told me to bring my camera…
