The prompt for this photo blog was to take a photo of something that represents my culture. To do this, I photographed a Chinese scroll in my house. Chinese scrolls combine landscape imagery, poetry, and calligraphy to express history, philosophy, and reflection, and they often change over time as owners add seals and inscriptions. This scroll represents my culture because it reflects the importance of art, tradition, and storytelling in Chinese culture, as well as the idea that history and personal meaning are preserved and passed down through generations.
