The prompt for this photo blog was to use the composition technique of depth of field. To achieve this, I focused on the two lily of the valley flowers in the foreground while allowing the flowers and stairs in the background to blur out of focus. Using a shallow depth of field helped create separation between the subject and background, drawing attention to the delicate details of the flowers and adding a layered sense of depth to the image.
