The prompt for this photo blog was to take a photograph that conveys the feeling of serenity. When I thinking serenity, the first things that come to my mind are bodies of water, so I decided to capture a water lily in a pond at a local garden. This photograph conveys a sense of serenity through the stillness of the water, the single water lily in the pond, and the reflections of the surrounding environment. All of these aspects together provide me with a calm and serene feeling.
