“Golden Hour is a magical time of day. Capture it.”

This is a photo that I took with my camera while visiting Northwestern University in Chicago. I was looking forward to capturing a photo of the golden hour sky shining down on the Chicago skyline, but unfortunately the clouds rolled in while I was doing my tour.

It’s unfortunate, I was literally so close to getting a beautiful shot, but I still managed to capture some of the gold below the clouds, and a few stray rays of sunshine. In a way, I think it actually suits Chicago more than if the skies were to be completely clear.
