Gruyere may be known for its cheese, but I’d say the gardens are just as good-looking.

“Tell the story of stunning flowers.”

When you hear the word “Gruyere,” many would immediately think of the cheese (which is delicious, by the way). However what many in America don’t know is that the cheese is actually named after the medieval Swiss town of Gruyères.

It’s not a little known secret that the nobles and monarchs of the medieval ages weren’t great people– however, if there’s anything they did right, it would be their gardens. Of course, the flowers currently at the Château de Gruyères aren’t the original flowers from many centuries ago, but they’re very pretty nonetheless.
