“Every exit is an entry to somewhere else. Be inspired by your exit this week.”

Welp, it’s the final photo blog for this year. However, not my last photo blog at Freestyle! For my exit photo, I decided to try and follow the train tracks near my house until I could find some sort of tunnel or exit point.

Trains are, by no surprise, the most efficient, cleanest, and fastest method of ground transport on planet Earth. In other parts of the world like Europe and Asia, one could pack up all of their belongings and start a life anew, taking a train to wherever their destination is.

It’s a real shame that we lack proper commuter train infrastructure in America, because they’re truly wonderful vehicles– and when they’re well-kept and funded properly, they can be so much more comfortable than cars and planes.

I eventually came across this sunken junction near Santa Clara (I drove for about half an hour or so), where the tracks disappeared off through the side of a nearby hill. I’m not sure where they lead to, but this is their exit from the Bay Area, and their entry to whatever lies on the other side of those hills.
