“Water is precious and beautiful.”
It also happens to make some very good-looking reflections. I took this photo while I was in Portland, Oregon for more college touring. Near my hotel was this incredibly beautiful Chinese tea garden, tucked away in a corner of the urban city streets. In the middle of the garden was the pond you can see above, still as a statue.
It’s almost impressive how much detail is reflected in this otherwise murky-looking pond. That’s not to say it wasn’t pretty, but it certainly wasn’t a Hawaii-beach-level of clear.
