“Telling the story of someone you know well is sometimes the hardest story to tell.”

I would agree, if I was talking about my family, but unfortunately I only really have depressing stories to tell about them (from the recent past, which is sadly as far back as my memory goes).

Instead, I want to take a moment to show off my friends (disregard me, I’m the one with the bucket hat). The people who have been with me from my first day at high school, always cracking crude jokes and making each other laugh. They’ve been the biggest supporters of my transition, the biggest fans of my music, and the first people I go to when I want to have a good time.

I don’t know where I’d be without these five jokers.
