My name is Stephen Messner and I was a student at Freestyle academy from 2024-2026. I learned many technical skills in Adobe programs, especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
Zenith
My Zenith was an Experimental Music Visualizer. Zenith was the “Senior Final Project”, and gave us the flexibility to make what we wanted. Hope you enjoy!
Junior narrative/documentary
As Juniors, Landon and I collaborated on two different films: Our Narrative (left) and Documentary (right). Our Narrative was about a young, new gym goer who meets a personal trainer, and learns that everyone has a different path to growing in the gym. Our Documentary took us back to our Elementary School – Landels – and Bubbles the Crossing Guard. I still can’t decide which one I like better!
Senior Narrative
The project I’m most proud of is my Senior Narrative. I worked hard with Emma and Luca over the span of almost 9 months to make it! We started with a football style film, then veered over to boxing for a while, and finally settled on golf. (Trailer – left, final product – right)
