Why Humor?
The last unit that Seniors take on is the Humor unit. The goal is simple: Read Kurt Vonnegut’s “Slaughterhouse Five”, and make people laugh through a presentation. But before you create your own humor, you first need to study a humorist and how humor is made, following a certain list of techniques.

DIsclaimer: brewstewfilms contains explicit content that may be innapropriate for some audiences.

For my Humor Analysis, I wrote about Brewstewfilms – he makes really crappy animations on YouTube and tells stupid stories – kind of like a rated R version of TheOdd1sOut. I think the thing he does best is sound confident but calm while talking about some super extreme and wild topics from his childhood. The analysis of Brewstew helped Mason, Jerry, and me to do his style of commentary, on top of Jerry’s “Step by step tutorial to becoming the Ultimate Freestyle Student”
I valued working with Mason and Jerry on this project because we had a ton of fun hanging out and combining our crazy and dumb ideas into one!
