In accompaniment with our story from English, we created a multi-layer art piece presenting themes in the story. For my multi-layer art, I chose to make a lightbox. This is a box with numerous layers of thin-cut paper at different places in the box that when light is shown through creates a landscape.
First we drew up each of the layers on physical paper.
Second, we drew up these layers in Illustrator.
Then it was laser printed out of paper and I assembled it into the physical light box. View the video below to see my assembly.

Finally, we created After-Effects a 3D video of these layers using my illustrator file.

My Artist Statement:
For this project, I first set forth with making the design and I wanted to bring in aspects from my worldbuilding projects such as the water and its toxicity due to lead, the protests, the government buildings and hills, and clouds to represent the environment.
